Project Background

Farrans Construction is the main contractor for an extension of the Quadrangle Building at Kings College to provide a new engineering department. BM Steel Fabrications was appointed to supply and install all structural steel.

Project Challenges

There was very restricted construction access to the busy public site, so meticulous planning was a prerequisite along with detailed timetabling to meet the tight programme schedule.
